How we got engaged

On a beautiful fall day in November, Justin and Jenn went to Central Park to spend the day outside and take pictures of all of the beautiful fall colors on the trees. Little did she know, but Justin had bigger plans for the day.

They started at Columbus Circle and made their way through the park taking pictures. Justin already had it planned to attempt to propose to Jenn by the water where the row boats are in a little iron gazebo. The two of them had actually stumbled upon the spot two years ago when they first moved up to New York City. Unfortunately, those plans were thwarted by all of the tourists and such hanging out around the water that day. One of the most important things to Justin was to keep the proposal a private affair, so he needed to find a new spot.

After more walking around, they finally came across a spot where there was an open field and Justin told Jenn that they should walk through there instead. She started to run ahead of Justin, not knowing that he was getting the ring out of his pocket where it had been hiding all day. As they got to the top of the field, they stopped by a tree and Justin told Jenn to come here so that he could talk to her. He then got down on one knee as Jenn started to realize what was happening, even though she kept saying, "Are you serious???"
